• SYNTHESIS AND ANTITUBERCULAR ACTIVITY OF 5-METHYL-N-ARYL SUBSTITUTED OXAZOLIDINE DIONE DERIVATIVES
Abstract
A Convenient high yield one pot methodology for the synthesis of pharmaceutically interesting 5-methyl-N-aryl substituted oxazolidine-2, 4-dione derivatives is described. The structures of compounds were established on the basis of IR, GC-MS and NMR spectral data. The title compounds were investigated for antitubercular activity. The tested compounds exhibited good antitubercular activity as compared to standard drugs.
