• U.V. SPECTROPHOTOMETRIC METHOD DEVELOPMENT FOR QUANTITATIVE ESTIMATION OF ZIPRASIDONE HYDROCHLORIDE

Abstract


Simple, sensitive, accurate, precise and rapid ultraviolet (U.V) Spectrophotometric method was developed for the estimation of Ziprasidone HCl in pure form and marketed formulation. 1M methanolic Hydrochloride solvent used for the estimation Ziprasidone Hydrochloride. The wavelength used for the determination was 315nm.The Beer’s Law range found to be 10 -70 ug. The drug content in marketed formulation was evaluated and recovery studies were also carried out found to be good agreement. The method was validated as per ICH guidelines. Various parameters such as accuracy, precision, Linearity, LOD, LOQ, Recovery, were found within satisfactory limit.
