• ISOLATION OF CHEMICAL COMPOUNDS FROM LEAF EXTRACT OF ALPINIA OFFICINARUM

Abstract


This study was undertaken to isolate the chemical compounds from the alcoholic leaf extract of Alpinia Officinarum Hance. Two main chemical compounds, i.e. Alpinia Officinarum (AO-1) Alpinia Officinarum (AO-2), having nomenclature tetradecanyl capriate and bauerenyl arachidate were obtained in the present study by chromatographic methods.
